    Black Soybean(Black bean) has been used for traditional medicine and food in Asian countries for a long time. It contains high quaity of isoflavones in beans, and high amount of anthocyanidins in the hull part. The highest recorded amount of Anthocyanin appears to be specifically in the seed coat of black bean containing some 2,000 mg per 100 g. In Chinese medicine the seed coat is called Liaodouyi with an effect of detoxification and diuretics.
